Fur's Gonna Fly is a full-service pet salon that has called the corner of Shallowford & Trickum home since August 1999. We take care of all your grooming needs, for your dog or your cat.
Everyone on our staff started with a love for animals and turned it into a way to make them feel their best. We're honored that you trust us with your pet.
"The biggest compliment you can give us is to trust us with your pets. We'll honor that trust with respect & loving care."
Besides grooming, we offer professional dog show handling for all breeds, plus obedience and agility training.
All haircuts are done the way you want. Every haircut includes the full bath below, unless you ask us to skip it.
Haircut pricing depends on breed, coat and condition. Give us a call for a quote.
We take your pet's health and well-being as seriously as their looks. Amy knows canine & feline behavior, skin problems, temperament issues, and timid or scared pets, and she's always happy to suggest treatment options.
Need an express groom, have an elderly pet, or one with a bit of an attitude? Just ask.
Bring puppies that will need regular grooming in as soon as their vaccinations have taken effect. We recommend starting with just a bath and a face, feet & sanitary trim, so they learn the salon is a pleasant place to be.
From there we'll build up a little more each visit, so they enjoy being groomed for the rest of their lives. We'll also show you how best to care for your puppy's coat at home.
You trust us with your pets, and we want to return the favor.

"I own and show champion Chow Chows. They have my heart. Among the ones you may meet are the #1 Chow in the USA for 2008, the 2006 National Chow Best of Breed winner, and the 2009 Eukanuba Best of Breed chow."
"I've been grooming dogs for over a decade and can't imagine working in any other field. I have a knack for grooming the 'ungroomable' dog. I hope you'll give our salon a try."
Brian came to us with a love for dogs and a wish to work with them, and we're so glad he found us. He's our most reliable assistant ever. You'll find him at the front counter checking pups in and out, in the back bathing and drying, and everywhere in between.
Thanks for the hard work, Brian!
